Final Walkabout Tour in the Books

0909_01

This past weekend in Waterloo, Iowa, we closed the chapter on an incredible era in Downunder Horsemanship’s history with our final Walkabout Tour presented by Ritchie Industries. We couldn’t have asked for a better send-off than the one we experienced with all of you.

From the very first tour stop in 2001 to this past weekend, the mission has always been the same: to share the Method, to help horsemen grow in their knowledge and confidence, and to create a community of people passionate about good horsemanship. Waterloo embodied all of that and more. The crowd’s enthusiasm was electric, every demo horse provided real-world lessons, and the breakthroughs we witnessed in the arena reminded us exactly why we started this tour in the first place.

When the last demonstration finished and the crowd gave Clinton a standing ovation, all of us were overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you for showing up, for cheering us on and for believing in the Method. Your energy fueled us through the weekend, and your passion for bettering yourselves and your horses gave this last tour stop a feeling we’ll never forget.

We are deeply thankful to our sponsors, who have stood by us through the years and made it possible to bring the Walkabout Tour to cities across the country. We are especially indebted to Ritchie Industries for being the featured sponsor for over 15 years. Their support helped us reach thousands of horsemen, and we couldn’t have done it without them.

We appreciate everyone who took part in our “Big Blue Sendoff” contest. Clinton and our team have enjoyed reading the messages you wrote on Big Blue and watching all the social media videos you’ve tagged us in. We’ll be announcing the winner of the saddle later this week.

From all of us at Downunder Horsemanship, thank you for being part of the journey. You’ve given us memories we’ll carry forever. While this chapter is ending, we can’t wait to bring you an even bigger and better experience. Stay tuned for information about our mega event taking place in Las Vegas next August. Here’s to the end of an era, and the beginning of what’s ahead.
