March No Worries Club Video All About Working Cattle

0306_02

The worst thing you can do as a trainer is to drill on the same exercises every day. While consistency and repetition are important to train your horse to be a safe, fun and willing partner, it’s just as important to add variety to your lessons. Without variety, your horse will get bored and resentful about training sessions. One of the ways that Clinton loves to challenge his horses and keep things interesting for them is to do cow work.

In the March training video, Clinton starts off by explaining how to safely introduce your horse to cattle and then works with an advanced student and her horse to explain how to progress your horse’s cow-handling skills. It’s a fun lesson full of great training tips to progress your horsemanship.

Log on to the No Worries Club website or the Downunder Horsemanship app to watch the video. The Downunder Horsemanship app is a free download from the App Store and Google Play.
